David Brian Tait, 50, of Tempe, AZ, passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2007. David was born March 24, 1957 in Stamford, NY, moving to the valley in 1977. He was the owner of Tait Solar Company, Inc., a solar energy testing and consulting firm. David was on the faculty at Arizona State University for the last 13 years teaching courses in solar energy technology. He was also active in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, National Fenestration Rating Council and the American Solar Energy Society, among other professional societies. David was also a member of both the Elk's and Moose Lodges. He is survived by his wife, Betsy Tait; his daughter, Erin Brianna Tait; his father, Daniel (Genevieve) Tait and three brothers, Richard (Vivianne), Robert and Andrew, originally from Grand Gorge, New York. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret. A celebration of David's life will be held on August 9th at 4:00pm at the Community Christian Church, 1701 S. College, Tempe, Arizona.
